A big thing that helped me plan our wedding was this wedding planning book from Amazon. It has everything you need to get started! From where to start, what to look for in vendors, bridal dress styles, and more!
It’s also a nice notebook to carry around when visiting venues!
Though keep in mind, this small notebook doesn’t replace a professional coordinator. We highly recommend hiring a wedding planner, or day-of coordinator! They’ll take the load off your back on your big day!

Pick multiple, then narrow it down to who you really like the most. Have a consultation, phone meeting, coffee date. Whatever you can do to see if they really are a good fit for your big day. A photographer/videographer is not only a vendor, but an extension of your friend squad!

One of the best things you can do to help out your guests is to make a wedding registry. You can make one at almost any location! Places such as Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. can help gather all of the things you’re needing after the wedding.
Once you’ve got your registry ready, make a wedding website! Here’s where you can share your photos, bridal/groom team, venue info + more! Guests can even RSVP without needing to send you an RSVP via mailbox which helps to keep it digital and eco friendly!
