Nathan & April | Texas Hill Country Wedding Photographer
It's officially been one whole year since this sweet couple has said, "I DO"! Time sure does fly, especially when you're having fun! Since one year has passed, I thought I could revisit some fun highlights from their special day!
On a bright, warm October afternoon, the birds were chirping, the trees were swaying, and love was in the air. While April was beginning her preparations, Nathan was out with the boys, laughing, cracking jokes, and dressing their dog. No really! He was a part of the ceremony crew!
As the hours went on, before we knew it, it was time for April to say, "I DO". Nerves were kicking in, anxiety up, but more than anything, April was excited. This was the moment she was going to start a new chapter in her life, but with the man she loved. It was time for her to become his wife. Something she has always wished for. A happiness so pure, and loving.
And just like that, April became Mrs. Walter! Smiles were beaming from all of their guests, along with laughter and joy. Everyone was excited to welcome the couple as they began the new chapter of their lives in front of all their family. Especially so when it came to the first dance. This is when my couples really begin to shine. This is when you can really feel the love!
And you can't forget about the Mother & Son dance! Just look at how happy momma was!
Through all of the events, it was almost time for the reception. The weather was great, the beer was cold, and the smell of BBQ was lighting up the area. The guests were ready to sit down, and enjoy their time with the bride & groom.
Soon after, it was time for the toast. This is when things get tricky. You never know if you're going to hear something very sentimental, or super hilarious. But for April & Nathan, they got something very sweet. A toast from their friends. Nothing is more special than friendship because it will always last a lifetime.
We're so thankful we got to be a part of their day, and we hope their first year was everything they had hoped for and more. This is just the beginning as they have a lifetime of togetherness to go. Cheers to April & Nathan, and a happy one year anniversary!
